To discourage breaking the street date...it doesn't matter how eager a fan is, they shouldn't be able to get the game before it is released. I don't really blame the OP for getting the game early (that is the store's fault) but it was silly to register it early...

Also, try contacting the store if they made any mention of the free game in any of their promotions...you may be able to convince them to give you something...it is worth a shot

I did not buy the game or register it early-  iwas just asking about the reason for denying the early claim-  seems like they should hold the stores accountable for breaking the st date not an eager fan/consumer IMO
