Oh jeez (HA) this will be hard.

It's similar to Nintendo Land. You throw Pikmin by touching the Gamepad. There are 2 buttons on the screen: Dismiss and apps button (to use the map and extra stuff). And now you call them by touching the screen and pressing R.

It's only there to make off TV play more convenient. But motion controls are 10000x better either way.
