To discourage breaking the street date...it doesn't matter how eager a fan is, they shouldn't be able to get the game before it is released. I don't really blame the OP for getting the game early (that is the store's fault) but it was silly to register it early...
Also, try contacting the store if they made any mention of the free game in any of their promotions...you may be able to convince them to give you something...it is worth a shot

That's actually a good point. It practically IS the store's fault. I've sent an email to Nintendo with pictures of my copy and stuff for evidence. I'll let you guys know the outcome. If it is negative, I'll contact the store for this issue ^^.
