No, read everything, resolution is not everything, sacrifice everything else for the resolution and still not being on par with PS4 on the resolution, One has much more screen tearing, worse shadows, worse framarate,no ao ( thing taking a lot o performances).

So it's false to say it's shrinking because of one game ( it's like xbox vs PS2, it's not because some games were on par with PS2 that there was no gap, it's totally up to the dev, if you think a bit, the gap cant change, hardware will never change), and even in this game, the gap is still here.

That would quite a change from the narrative so far, all we've heard about since the PS4's launch is 1080p this and 1080p that. :p

Yes, we were discussing about resoultion mostly between PS4 and xbox one. But, developers seems like they are trying to make a trade off in graphics details more than resolution to make it stable which was happened in Watch dogs in Shadows and ambient lighting which are costly things along with some resolution too. So, the approx 30-40% diff in hardware is not going to disappear between PS4 and xbox one unless developers doesn't fully take advantage of PS4.

Of course the gap's not going to disappear, the hardware precludes that, but as Xbone ihas a less straightforward architecture than PS4 it will have more room for improvement. The gap will always be there, but I suspect it will grow less pronounced with time, as happened with PS3/360.
