@montrealsoon: Hardly, Nintendo could release a Nintendo brand HD, and that could be the only HD that works.
And I'm pretty sure that'd be ok with most consumers. Every Wii SHOULD have the HD, so that's not bad if it appears incomplete without it.
Nintendo could start packaging the HD with the Wii in the future as well, keeping the price at $250 hopefully.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
