I usually like IGN reviews but they seem to have a hate out for Mariokart. Yes I am a little nervous about the wideness of tracks but they say it is as fast or faster than DD. Double dash was at least decent. They are adding online and tons more tracks, plus retro tracks. I think they were spoiled by Brawl. And admittedly I would have liked it Kart had gotten the same service, but they are talking it up like this is Wiimotorsports or something.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
