We may have...but having been gone for so long from this site I may have missed a subtle criticism of the game.  Let's see how I'm doing with deciphering your riddles these days: how do you feel about Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails?

In regards to the other two posters referring to the slow/heal ability....it's definitely an added bonus and I'd like to see it implemented in other games...but it's just not enough for the platform lover in me.  I usually like to stay away from videos of games before I watch them but I saw the part where you shine the light through the glyphs and for some reason I anticipated using this feature more.  I have been greatly let down.

Since the quality of the story ranges between forgettable and annoying (that awful writing), the game tends to feel a bit repetitive. You fly around, open chests and fight enemies, and that's basically it. The battle system can carry the game only so far, but thanks to quick level ups there is a high enough amount of reward to keep going. Child of Light also looks and sounds good, so the game does more right than wrong. Unfortunately it's on the short side. Nine hours isn't much for a $15 RPG. I still had some unsolved sidequests left which I had planned to do before fighting the final boss, but the end came all of a sudden.

There you go.

Damn...no, I didn't see that.  That's a pretty good summation of how I feel about the game.  The story/dialogue are interesting...but become pretentious pretty quickly.

There's really just a lack of gameplay in this title.
