| Garcian Smith said: Anyone know who owns the rights to it? It doesn't seem like the type of game to get a remake, so if it's someone who's currently supporting the VC, it might see a release. As an aside, is it anything like the Knight of Lodis for the GBA? I'm about 18 hours through that game, and I can barely put it down. The world needs more quality, non-grind-heavy SRPGs. :( |
No they're very very different. Aside from being set in the same world. People disagree with me but I believe the storyline goes like this.
Knight of Lodis(GBA) - Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (SNES) - Ogre Battle - Person of Lordly Caliber = Tactics Ogre, Let Us Cling together.
If your looking for another quality SRPG i'd try and find the PS1 version of Let Us Cling Togegther.
It's just like Knight of Lodis except there are no medals and the battle system is done with CTs.
I'd guess Square-Enix owns the rights to the Ogre games as they purchased Quest back in 2002.
