Ok, I'm glad I get indies, and they really are great games. But going into June...you know, the big "summer drought" that always happens? Gimme a freaking full retail game. With Watch_Dogs, MLB, Infamous, FFXIV, Ground Zeroes, Dynasty Warriors, etc. out....nobody is worried about Killzone or Ghosts right now. I know this is a long term move, to get indies in your favor throughout the gen to bolster the library of AAA games the PS4 will undoubtedly have...but sales are declining for a reason.
If you told me that if I get a PS4 and PS+ and PS+ had Ghosts on it, that'd be a hell of an incentive when I was already gonna drop $510 on a PS4, PS+, and a full retail game. Now I'd have 2 games. Indies aren't gonna carry you (which is what people were trying to say, last gen about the 360, in regard to saying indies "don't count". It's not that they weren't good games, but no one is buying consoles for indies). As Jim Sterling said, indies aren't system sellers, they're system justifiers. You gotta sell me the console, first, for me to justify it.
Granted, I'm excited as hell if I can get my hands on Far Cry 3. It was one of the games that I heard too many good things about, but never could get around to buying it
