Actually, I think the next Call of Duty would like a word with the both of you. Ghosts sold about 17.5 million in 2013 on PS3/360/PS4/One, even if the series took an unprecedented plunge on the charts and managed only half of that, still makes for about 8.7 million sales, something I highly doubt that neither MK nor Destiny will be able to come close to beating in 2014. You could draw the "exclusive!" card I guess, but Destiny isn't exclusive either, making the whole comparison void. Not to mention the fact that both titles might still lose to CoD on a single platform this year (360 version alone sold about 7.6 million in 2013).
OT: I never believed I would like Destiny since I'm; A: Not a big fan of Bungie and, B: Not a big fan of online shooters at all. Not much has changed and I'm quite content with thinking that this game was simply never going to appeal to me in the first place.
