Sorry but I disagree here, the PS3 will not end up anywere close to the Wii when this generation ends... and I would bet my last penny that Sony tought they could have it all, quick Blue-Ray domination and console Domination... yes they won the format war (yes a big victory but how important that was is yet to be seen) but they gave away console domination and that can in no way have been the plan. Videogames are the biggest and fastes growing market in the entertainment industry, with the PS1 and the PS2 Sony had put itself way on top... had they done things right with the PS3 they could have crushed Nintendo and Microsoft... now they can be happy to turn up in second place sometime twards the end of the generation... there is no way Sony wanted that to happen...
