im not entirely sure how to post pictures on this site, ill give it a shot tho. Also i never said anything about pure power, i know close to nothing about tech specs so i wont comment on them, im talking about the actual visuals which the majority of people wont notice a significant difference. what do PS4/XOne have to do with anything? edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--bFY_0mb5s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R8JElw9yHA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuSWAMdJQl8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmxhBMlBTyc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU_zJzJRkrQ Wii U games look better but its not nearly as big of a difference as GB vs N64, GBA vs GC, DS vs Wii. the average person wont see a significant difference and if someone recently bought a 3DS for Nintendo games they may not feel the need to own a Wii U as well or if someone is looking to get a new device for Nintendo games they will most likely buy 3DS since its roughly half the price with over twice the amount of games. |
Yeah its obvious you know nothing about tech specs are you are completely overlooking resolution and are just going on art style ignoring the backgrounds, shadows, AA etc which most gamers would notice, but something casuals would skim over.
Though I think both you and curl-6 are right in saying that the difference between the two isn't actually great enough. If we look at people complaining about games like Ryse not being "next-gen" as well as other games, then Nintendo fans are surely going to be very warey of the WiiU as it just doesn't offer a truly new experience. Almost ironic that their success with handhelds is what is undermining their home console.
