Super Mario Sunshine... people are always complaining about how every Mario game feels like the same thing. Sunshine is way different than most Mario games. People were bitching (and still are) about how Nintendo needs a new IP. We got Luigi's Mansion. Then people bitched about how it didn't feel like a Mario game. People were bitching about how Nintendo needed a Mario game that was different (and they still are). They made Super Mario Sunshine and guess what... people bitched how it didn't feel like a Mario game! I'm giving a standing ovation to Nintendo for doing what people wanted and actually making it. Probably why they don't make the games different anymore because people would bitch. Huh! sorry for all the language! but still i was just making a point. Super Mario 64 is close to beating Sunshine because it was the first 3D Mario game and was revolutionary. So yea... I vote Super Mario Sunshine.
