I'll be getting this for the Wii. Even if this isn't the best version, support for the Wii version will convince Harmonix that the Wii will be the place for this game in the future.
Guitar Hero III sold unbelievably on the Wii despite being in Mono.
Rock Band will sell relatively well too.
Neither game was made for the Wii and neither were expected to do terribly well on the Wii.
Hate to break it to you, but this genre of games are going to become the property of the Wii movement sooner or later. If DLC and online really mattered, the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III wouldn't be the best selling one.
I laugh at everyone saying Wii owners won't spend money on both Guitar Hero III and Rockband. By that logic, people who spent even more money on a PS3 or 360 would be even less likely to buy both of them. So, by your logic, the Wii versions will sell better than either console's versions.
