I won't even argue the implications that condoning the parenting of someone who allows they're 3 year old to "pick up smoking" has. There is absolutely no reason why a 3 year old should have the physical capability to "pick up smoking."

None of those cases, which are not the ones you listed, deal with someone growing up after years in comatose. Every case you listed lasted less than 6 weeks and the psycological changes are mainly due to severe head trauma. You're being sloppy.

You didn't read the full article then? Case 9: The crash victim who woke up 19 years later. Sure, he's a case that was stuck in the past, but that's how his case turned out. It could have just as easily have turned out like the others who just are completely different with very strange new brain patterns and cravings.

No, the girl who is smoking is not a result of bad parenting, you really didn't understand anything about the article.

She developed an inexplicable craving for cigarettes and downing beer. Similarly inexplicable is the lady who is suddenly speaking fluent german and completely forgets croatian, her mother tongue.

And even if adult link is a child inside, let's say your argument is valid (which is highly doubtful), is doesn't change that he looks like an adult, which was your whole point.

I read what you posted and responded to the examples because I rightfully assumed that you would quote the cases that best supported your arguement and they all fell through.

If she's craving cigarettes, don't give them to her. Good parenting.

"And even if adult link is a child inside, let's say your argument is valid (which is highly doubtful), is doesn't change that he looks like an adult, which was your whole point."

It's not doubtful. It's a child in an adult's body. It's a transformation mechanic. Zelda even hints at that when she tells Link to regain his lost time and go back to the way he's supposed to be. The fact that Link doesn't have a drastic personality change the first time he reverts back to a child to his new "older" personality completely debunks what you say. The fact that MM Link acts exactly the same as OoT Link after extensive time as an adult debunks everything you're saying.

And that's not my point at all. The whole reason this debate sprung up is because OoT's adult Link is a game mechanic like the wolf in TP and the masks in MM, as opposed to TP and SS's adult Links which are fanservice. I like OoT's adult Link.
