Should I get Mario Kart 8?

You say it's more about luck than skill, but then you go on to say that the better players win more often than not, which is true, hence skill is most important. And I don't what you mean by the better players being penalized, as items can affect you regardless of what position you're in. And if you don't like the series then stop buying the games! xP
