I'm very perceptive against framerate, screen tear, issues like that, but at 60fps with one duplicate frame, I was looking to seeing what they saw and I couldn't. They did say that once you can see it, you can't unsee it and maybe I just didn't notice it, but it didn't bother me and I watched the entire video.
Anyways, I don't think they're against Nintendo they're just pointing out a noticeable flaw for people that may happen to notice it. If you read their Tomb Raider Definitive Edition comparison, the PS4 version is usually dropping to 50fps, sometimes 40fps, and in the entire video, the Xbox One drops once to 29fps. They point out the PS4 version dropping frames more often, but then seem more harsher on the single framedrop of the Xbox One.
"However, with Xbox One dipping under 30fps - often in scenes where sustained visual feedback and consistent controls are really a must, the Microsoft platform clearly comes up short in comparison to its unlocked rival."
Unless it's Richard Leadbetter who seems biased against Sony when he's comparing their games to another console and seems harsher on issues they have that other ones have, it's just digital foundry pointing everything out and being overly critical about any little problem.
