That said, 720p and no antialiasing are no big issues in a racing game. Sure, when you look at screenshots or look another player over the shoulder, you can see some jaggies... but when you are behind the wheel yourself, you don't have time to look for jaggies or other minor distractions. And obstacles on the race track aren't THAT small that the resolution would make a big difference.
