Game of thrones? I'm on page 338 of Dance with dragons. This book is going rather slow so far. (I haven't seen any tv episodes yet)
I just watched Ender's game. 6/10
I got it from the psn weekly movie deals, $1.99 5.6 GB download. Decent quality although very soft looking on a projector, not a lot of definition in huge battles. Black level and colors were good.
Beware, psn downloads default to stereo, you have to manually switch it to 5.1. I thought the soundtrack was completely flat until I remembered that little fact. It still wasn't that great at max 340kbps AAC, but at least the surround speakers got plenty attention.
The cgi and action were pretty good, story average. I haven't read the book but it still felt like a sub par movie adaptation. I might get it on blu-ray when it drops to $8 or less, wouldn't pay more for it.
I also watched Raising Arizona on blu-ray. 6.5/10
Still a very funny movie, yet a bit slow at times. Nicolas Cage is perfect for the role. Blu-ray quality is decent with a lot of visible film grain. I kinda did it backwards, should have watched Ender's on blu and Arizona by download.
