LoZ is not FF or Star Wars. And his character in SS is adult so that he can better be "badass." Every Zelda game with only adult Link would be no different/better with child Link. Every Zelda game with child Link would be worse off with adult Link.

@bold. How can you be sure of that? And Link is young in the other games so he can be less bad ass?

Is link young or old in Link's Adventure?

We can't answer those questions because we honestly don't know.

Also, if link were so bad ass in TP, why does he look like a girl?

Because adult Link's inclusion in the franchise is literally a reaction to fan opposition to wind waker and their positive reaction to the GCN tech demo. The sole reason he is included was because Aonuma wanted to "appologize" to fans for Wind Waker by giving them the "badass" Link they wanted. Skyward Sword's Link, who is very literally TP Link with baggier pants and a more colorful design, is a remnant of that design phylosophy.

Young Link absolutely can be badass, but the entire design phylosophy behind adult Link is to make him look badass. I don't mind badass characters, but a Link's design shouldn't be crafted around what looks the coolest.

He's still young im my eyes. He does't look as old as SS or TP Link, even if he is. And again, that doesn't bother me because there's a purpose to his age. He's that old (16) because it follows a cronalogy to the first game where he's 12. It, again, shows a child growing up.
