They still racked up about 22 million GameCube sales lifetime.

That is considered terrible for a console

The Wii sold as much as the NES and SNES combined

Actually, if you round it, SNES is at 50 million and NES is at 60 million. That totals to 110 million. Wii won't reach that.

Even if half of the Wii fans bought a Wii U, and let's say 10 million just didn't like Nintendo and weren't fans of it, the console would still sell 40 MILLION.

But you don't give us a reason why you think It's possible

Though it won't lifetime sales, I personally think the Wii U's peak will outshine the Wii's, and same with 3DS.

So I guess you expect it to peak in 2015, with over 24,188,263 units sold in that year? Again, you don't give a reason why this could be possible. Plus, Wii U will probably reach 10 million units sold this year, 10 + 24 = 34. So you expect Wii U to sell only 6 million more in 2-3 years after such a huge boost?

Edit: By the way, the only reason The Wonderful 101 flopped is because it released right before GTA V. Same thing with Splinter Cell and Rayman Legends.
