Sakurai has shown nothing if not commitment to acknowledging the needs of the tournament crowd, and balancing them against the needs of the many of us who have no interest in tournament-style play. The tourney crowd should be quite satisfied with the new game (no more tripping, final destination versions of all stages), while we on the "For Fun" side also get what we want. |
But have they included a Fox only stage select screen just incase there was any accidents? :D
That's really cool to hear tho, I think I played maybe 20hours at most of Smash Bros 64 but when it comes to Melee I easily lost over 1k hours between my own memory card save data and playing at friends or some tournaments of it I just pretty much think that Smash bros of the 6th gen was the absolute best fighting Experience, only matched by Super Street Fighter 4 in the 7th gen. Brawl tho.... I think I maybe unlocked half of the challenges that were there I doubt I played 20 hours beyond what was needed to unlock all of the characters, if it hadn't been preceeded by Melee it could have been far more enjoyable, but as the sequel to my favourite game at the time and the reason I bought the wii to begin with it just couldn't do that justice.
I guess when it comes to Wii-U smash bros from the sounds of it I'll have had it for a few months on the 3DS beforehand so I can know if the console version of it would be worth the price of the Wii-U for... that didn't work out too great with monster hunter tri Ultimate tho.
