Lol, that's not happening. That doesn't appeal to the "broad audience" Aonuma wants.

I know, but there are some interesting parallels with a young link

1- Both Elderly and young children are seen as asexual by our society. Therefore, it wouldn't be odd if the hero was actually more interested in saving the world than getting laid.

2- Both Elderly and young children are seen as weak and frail.

3- The age would testify for link puzzle solver abilities and broad fighting techniques. 

Given, a lot of this are misconceptions about the elderly and there are differences too. But still could work.

I'm also all in for a game where you play as Zelda/Sheik.
