Virtua Fighter>SoulCaliber>Tekken>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dead or Alive
(in terms of depth, anyway.)
But the games really are very different. Virtua Fighter has the more technical approach, SoulCaliber is weapons-based, and Tekken is dial-a-combo. All of them are great, but I give the edge to VF.
DoA is terrible though.
