Well, my facetious comment is sort of correct in a sick way. Votes are linked to IP addresses, not accounts, so even unregistered visitors with dynamic IPs can skew results.
But I sort of see what you mean, assuming that you also disagree with the blatant misuse of the term "objectivity" to add undeserved weight to popular opinion, which is, by its very nature, inescapably subjective.
