Why do people keep saying that the PS4 is doomed in Japan?

I noted 2 kind of persons :

- Those who are happy to see PS4 "fails" somewhere and can now say " gaming is dead, same for every console" without even waiting how market reacts to system seller. ( if we listen to them, market is dead since 3DS launch)

- The childs who live their first generation/people who forgot older generations ( the same that will say " i dont see the gap, it was better before" juding next gen with cross gen games or " consoles are doomed !! " because consoles dont sell without system seller)
