Link was 10-12 in LoZ, and I liked that when I was 10-12. In AoL, the same Link was 18, and I liked that he was growing up with me. OoT allowed for both young and grown up. There are now decades of fans who grew up with Zelda and we'd like him to be at least past puberty. New child fans just got WWHD - us old fans (and that's most fans) should get a grown up.
I'm fine with Journey-like visuals, however. That would be a dream.
