one thing to note is compared to N64/GC, the Wii U is doing alright in Europe and Japan, its America that Wii U is severely underperforming compared to Nintendo's other poor selling consoles. They need to make something that appeals to America since it has traditionally been Nintendo's biggest market by far.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
