Ex: Nintendo makes LoZ (main games) in the next 5-6 years LoZ U (2015) LoZ 4DS (2017) LoZ X (2019)
If Hyrule Warriors is successful that schedule will stay exactly the same, if its not successful that schedule will stay exactly the same. Wanting Hyrule Warriors to see bad sales will make us have less potential games. If you wont like it fine, but by no means is it going to fill in for a Nintendo LoZ game! |
Yes I agree with you and understand what you mean. But I only meant that if this is a failure the outsourced Nintendo games would/could be more Zelda focused in the future and not just some spin-offs. For example when Capcom made Zelda: Minish Cap, a game which I hold as one of my all time favourites, is a much better way to go.
If Tecmo Koei(they make this game right?) would make a proper Zelda game but in their own engine and stuff, that would actually be really interesting. It would make a whole new feel to the Zelda I am sure, which this game of course also will. But this game will be missing so much of what I want. So being selfish I do hope it will fail. But like I said earlier, I won't make too many early assumptions since I don't really know too much about this game yet. I might like it in the end. :P
