SM3DW probably will not recieve DLC, since the developer alreadly stated to be working in the next mario game.
But Retro studios said that they we're working in something since november, and they said too that they were not satisfied with the use of animal buddies. I would be really happy if they included some levels with the parrot and the fish. Maybe even the elephant!!
