And why not? How is Holiday 2014 something delusional if they focused on developing the game with that release date in mind and not wasting time in other things?

When they talked about announcing a game closer to release, I'm sure they were talking about Zelda. Especially since Aonuma said that he wanted the next Zelda to have less developement time, as Skyward Sword took too long. 3 years was his sweet spot.
