i don't know if this is an inside joke, but that's definitely not him.
When I get to a computer, I'll link a video of an interview with Lucas, they do not sound alike.

Heard the interview, two completely different settings, as someone also explained on his channel and not really comparable. They use the exact same arguments, have the same nickname, same agenda, exact same interests and the same ludicrous conspiracy theories. JL has operated on several forums, some with the same name, others with different ones (amazon boards, joystiq, nerdmentality, democraticunderground, to name a few).

John Lucas is articulate though this guy not so much. Doctre was definitely one of JL's "followers" but I don't think that it is him. I could be wrong though.
