I agree, especially since we had that very public, verbal commitment of "unprecedented support" E3 2011, which devolved to average support by E3 2012, which by New Years 2013 had devolved into "absolute 0 support once we release Need For Speed, even beneath our NFL contracts." How do you go from very high to absolutely nothing in that amount of time? EA was known as the publisher that would make games for anyone, and were contractually required to do so by several of their licenses.
Not to make this into another thing about EA specifically, but it does highlight that unusual things happen between Nintendo and third parties that are beyond the pale of "normal" interactions for Sony or Microsoft.
