One has a big budget and is developed by a major studio; the other has a small budget and is developed by some small French studios. Gaming is moving forward to a point where bigger titles will continue to exist but they'll be fewer and farther between compared to the smaller stuff. In previous generations the line was blurred since everything got a retail release (mostly at full price too) and smaller titles which would've been downloadable games nowardays were not. And the only reason I'm making such a point about it is because you make so many threads in general, but particularly ones over the last few days, where you're using Metacritic as a measure but then throwing games which aren't "main" out of the window. Such as "top rated 3DS/WiiU/Vita exclusives (but not indies)" and now this. I just wish that I could change your mindset about this for future threads. (I also have issues with how you define "indies". Downloadable =/= "indie". In many cases it does, but that's a generalization; not a rule. But that's an argument for another thread/day)
I don't know! I don't spend much time on Metacritic. You're the one doing the research :P I'll leave it alone after this because I've said my peace, anyway. |
No dont worry, im all ears for opinions. I didnt mean anything by it. Rol just posted exactly wat i was thinking. Im just retarded with english. I didn't have the right words. Indies are real games and alot are better than regular develop retail games. Its just a small difference and that being should be reviewed differently.
Trust me, fighting for wat you believe in is A.O.K in my book! I do it all the time :p Srry for the mistranslation :'(
