I bought the console in December 2012, and didn't really see the droughts coming. But that was before Rayman got delayed. Once it came out I had fun with it for months, so if it wasn't delayed I would've been happy with it during the first drought.

BUT, as we all know, it got delayed, and all I had to play on it by then was Lego City, another great game, but one game in six months is too little for me. The other few titles that was released around that time, like Monster Hunter and Most Wanted, didn't interest me.

E3 disappointed me a bit, 3D World wasn't what I was looking for, and after that, Mario Kart was delayed. Pikmin 3 turned out to be a fun little game while it lasted, but it was still not what I was looking for in a Nintendo console.

Along came Donkey Kong in February, the first title for Wii U I was completely satisfied with. Now there's been three months since that, and Mario Kart is around the corner. If Smash is finally released this fall, plus some good games like Hyrule Warriors (I hope it's good) and Bayonetta (will buy if the first one is ported), I will be further on the way to happiness.

Now I'm looking forward to E3 and I hope they show the new Zelda. The Wii U is about to see its better days.

But first comes Mario Kart. It seems that it's not perfect either (battle mode), but if the race track designs are great I suppose I can live with that.

All in all, I'm starting to get happy about how they're treating it, but it isn't before MK comes out.

Yep.
