My TV goes completely black if it senses I'm not in the room, and you can program PS3 or 4 to turn off your control if you don't use it for long and how long to hybernate. So don't know what the relation on this. But if you want a little consuming device buy a WiiU, just don't complain that people think it graphic is weak compared to the other 8th gen... and power consumption/efficiency and graphic power are different matters just tied by temporal limitations on how much performance you can extract from a watt, and that is always evolving same as petrol and HP.
