But the good thing is that the low budget nature of Pikmin 3 may represent profit for Nintendo, hence the announcement of more sequels is more possible. |
Holy shit, this. EXACTLY this. I'd add on that I preferred the controls of the first two much more so. I guess the bit about the budget is a nice way of looking at it, but I too was quite disappointed. I think as time goes on and the hype around the game and urge to defend the Wii U dies down, Pikmin 2 will be remembered as the better game.
