I recently got the gamepad to work 20 feet away from the console through two interior walls, one of which is lined with tile. It had never done that well in my old house or my dorm! Anything beyond that had quite frequent lag.
But I just tested... and I CAN play it on my toilet and on my walk there. ( ; Over ten feet away also through two walls.
