Can a PS2 handle all the games that are / can be developed on a Wii?

The Wii is definitely more powerful than the PS2, which I think is the genius of it - it's pretty much at the limit of what you can do at SD resolution. That said, aside from motion controls, even a PS1 could handle all the games made for the Wii, you'd just have to use less polygons.
