2. The gamepad was Nintendo trying to inovate with the controler again to have a new casual magnet??? Or that WiiU architeture was made to attract them? If you are talking about power or cost on that them you are completely wrong. 3. And Nintendo problems with third parties isn't just because of power, or do you think they ignore Nintendo just because they are big bullies? They avoid Nintendo because they don't have much of a market on it, and even the devs that support the system get a lot of harsh feeling, mainly Ubisoft. |
1. Maybe if you actually listened to Iwata/Reggie's speeches at Wii U's reveal you would actually know that yes, the gamepad was made to attract third parties and the hardcore. It's why the Nintendo went back to the standard controller format that those two groups prefer and are comfortable with.
They told us so themselves when they went on and on about trying to unite the hardcore and casual on one machine and how the gamepad was a big part of trying to pull in that market and third party developers.
2. Don't know what you're trying to say here.
3. So why are telling me all of this? Did I say otherwise? Didn't I say Nintendo can't depend on 3rd party to support or move thir consoles? They can't move Nintendo consoles because the people who buy Nintendo's console are largely uninterested in the type of games they make. Also Ubisoft had alot of very successful software sales on Wii, I don't think they have anything to complain about.
