Its too late for the WiiU.
Third place will be the likely spot where it will be the rest of the gen once the Xbox one catches up.
SSB and MK8 will help it but not in the long run.
1 or 2 games will not save the system - never did, never will. The innovation of motion controls captivated people, those people who were interested by motion controls are no longer interested in the successor to the Wii. It was bound to happen.
Hence why last gen will not repeat again.

It's never to late. It ain't over till the fat lady sings. So you saying the Vita is dead. The Wii U will come in no least then second.

I thought this thread was about the WiiU? Like how you are twisting the discussion with jabs against a system which has nothing to do with the discussion on hand.
The WiiU has no chance of being #1 and its looking pretty grim for even the 2nd place. The fact that its competitors managed to sell as much as they did in a matter of 6-7 months compared to the WiiU's 1 and half year life cycle is proof of that. It wont be long before the Xbox One overtakes the WiiU and this is coming from a huge Nintendo fan.

I don't think the XOne will overtake the Wii U. I haven't heard one game doing 1080p on the XOne. With E3 coming and the world watching, Nintendo is going to show off. Nothing has a better line up of exclusives. Mario Kart 8 is about to launch, what do the XOne have?
That's besides the million + lead.
