I'm sure Persona 3/4 fans could atleast agree they should have used the demons themselves rather than the shadows and no less than 10 variations of each shadow. It could have still kept the same story, just all the popular SMT demons could have been the enemies. Unique enemies each battle, no repeats with just a different color and different strength/weaknesses, so if you've played past SMT games you'd recognize their weaknesses based on the enemy you're fighting. They could have introduced new monsters in the game as well, but the whole concept of shadows and you fighting the same monsters just different colors was a poor choice.
