Sounds faithful to the original in theme, which was really about humanity, with Godzilla itself being a big-ass metaphor. The 1998 film was actually fine, it's just was not Godzilla. It should have been called something else entirely.
That was a well-written review. Did you write that? If so, nice job. That only mistake I noticed was "high-altidude".
I can't wait to see the movie myself.
