Sucess on the Wii and Wii U, lets release a new one on PS4? I think i'm missing a logical step here. Through that line of thought XI should release on 3DS or Wii U.

True but if XI were on a Nintendo system, it'd had to be the 3DS to inherit it. The Wii U wouldn't do to well. Considering that the PS4 has lapped the Wii U it would be a wise choice to put DQ on PS4 like they did with DQVII and VIII since sony had a larger installed user base. But once again, go handheld and the wise choice is 3DS.
