While it is also produced by AMC, it's not created by the same people...which actually shows, BB is (IMO) much better show (though, again IMO, Mad Men, another AMC's gem, tops them both)

well looking at the casting staff (the people who select the actors) they were the same

LOL, yes, that's about the only thing they share...not to downplay their roles, cause they've done really great job (specially with BB), but creators/showrunners are completely different, and that's what matters the most on scripted shows.

 

About Mad men though i never watched it, but its 7 seasons and its still ongoing I have a lot to catch up on.

I enjoy shorter serieses more.

For my taste, Mad Men is one of the best shows ever created, though it might not be everyone's cup of tea due to generally, albeit purposefully, slower  pacing.
