In which case, the only way the games industry will properly die (i.e. PC, mobile, tablets consoles, browsers etc.) is if there's an apocalypse, or something nearly as bad like WW3... or a zombie apocalypse.
If that happens, we'll either be too dead to care or have more important things to worry about... like survival.
