Oh...I just read up. Deals with gold is the new initiative with stronger sales to combat PSN+ discounts. It was renamed from the "Deal of the Week" which has existed since 2009. Things are about to get interesting now because those old deals were a joke. Thanks to Valve, Sony started doing discounts and thanks to Sony, Microsoft followed suit. Competition is a hell of a thing and the deals are great all around now.

Seems like you've already done some research. I don't know about those old deals being a joke. If they were discounts, then what's the problem? I think I got Prince of Persia 2009 (can't remember the subtitle) for like $5 from one of those deals.

If you talking about the cell shaded on that came out in 2008 its just Prince of Persia (no subtitle). If you talking about the one that came out in 2010 which was kinda of a tie in with that aweful live action Disney film it Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
