I had a camera on my PC playing volley ball games (with body rec.) way WAY WAY before Sony came out with a console...
Sony did not invent anything in that regards... Same for 3D TV etc...

They just (like Microsoft) jumped on the opportunity and incorporated it into their own product.

What was this camera recognition device you speak of? 

When i was talking about Sony's innovation with TV's I spoke of the full screen two player television.

Microsoft buys their shit from other people, just like they did Nokia and the Kinect. They arent Sony who will live and die by creation of hardware.
