Sometimes I really wonder if you even believe the stuff you type. But there are peopl that would say: 'The Good King Geofrey Baratheon the finest man to ever walk the Gods geen Earth." There was hype for the PlayStation Eye? Really? Like where? The TV thing where two people can play was a cool idea, but they came out with an expensive small 720p TV. It was a nice idea, but too late and not good enough quality. Course, they were ripping off coop play from the old Pong, but I'd let it slide. Look at how Bill Gates was pushing 'The Slate' computer years and years before the ipad. I think you have it wrong. Microsoft creates a whole bunch of innovation. Then sometimes, they just walk away from it. |
The slate never came to the market.
My whole point about Sony was how they create regardless of hype and cannot be stopped. They dont need hype to innovate. The very definition of what it means to be a creative company.
Microsoft hypes everything they regardless of whether they make it or not. Walking away from things is such an appropriate thing for Microsoft because they do that a lot.
Kinect is like Halo. it was a project that Microsoft bought mid creation and took credit for after buying the developer. Luckily for the developers they left MS before they sucked all the creativity out of them.
