Its not that I doubt that you saw the article, I would just like to read it so I can see if they got it from Harmonix directly or if its possibly their false impressions etc..I won't be surprised with no DLC or online play, but I'm gonna wait for solid confirmation before I worry too much about it being absent when it might not be.

This is straight from MTV, whom are partners on the game, so you know it's legit.

 

Thanks.  I wasn't to worried about the source really, I just wanted to read the way the article was written to get a feel for where the info was coming.  This article left no ambiguity and they came right out and said it is straight from the devs that there will be no DLC or online play at launch. 

It does however seem possible that online play could be added later, but I won't hold my breath on that one.
